Urban Grunge...

Meet 3 year old "F" for being 3 she did awesome! She was very patient with me! I dont typically pose children and sit and wait for a smile and capture only that. I do understand moms want there children to look at the camera and smile, and who doesnt but I love the expressions I catch when they arent paying attention to me! So with "F" Im going to show a few different pictures in different processings. Enjoy!

You're pictures are so great! I actually live in South Ogden right now and I have taken many pictures at the Union Station. I haven't done photography for very long so if you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free to let me know.

Hi Marissa! THanks for your nice comment.=) These guys are good friends of ours, but if you want to be able to volunteer for families like them, there is an organization called NOW I LAY ME DOWN TO SLEEP that connects photographers with families who have terminally ill children, or families with stillborn babies or babies who pass shortly after birth.

I haven't officially signed up yet, i wanted to feel really confident that I could do a good job. Also I'm going to take a lighting class a pictureline in case the situation comes up and I need to use artificial lighting.

Also, we are planning an upcoming benefit concert for Karson and his family, do if you want to come or donate something for a silent auction (I am auctioning of a big fat session with prints), that would be a great way to help! I will e-mail you more info if you want. =)

Hi Marissa. Hey I have tried to email you, but for some reason it keeps telling me it failed. So, I was wondering what studio light you have, I use a large soft box hot light and a couple umbrellas. It's not enough light for capturing children with all the movin around they do. So any how, could you email me back with some info! Thanks! Love your work by the way!
